Celebrate by the Sea: Hen's Party Dessert Candle Making Adventure!

Imagine the laughter, the scents, and the joy as you and your closest friends create fabulous dessert candles! Our expert instructors will guide you through the process, providing all the materials and expertise needed for a seamless and delightful workshop.


What to Expect:

  • The Bride attends free of charge.
  • Guests begin the experience with a complimentary glass of bubbly or a zesty juice on arrival, raising a toast to the delightful moments that lie ahead.
  • The crashing waves around the clubhouse provides the backdrop for your workshop, a rustic, yet inviting space, with a sundeck and balcony overlooking the bay. 
  • BYO snacks and drinks are very welcome (including BYO alcohol).
  • Your booking includes 1 x workshop host for every 15 attendees. 
  • Inclusive of venue hire for the duration of your workshop.
  • Access to all venue facilities (balcony, upstairs and downstairs) as below.
  • This venue is strictly a no smoking zone.

Venue Facilities:

  1. The upstairs space is heated in winter, and cooled by the sea breeze in summer. 
  2. Upstairs has heating, bar, kitchen, coffee machine, sundeck, and balcony overlooking the bay. 
  3. Store your BYO drinks and snacks in the adjoining kitchen with fridge access upstairs.
  4. Access to a microwave, freezer, stove, and gas oven downstairs, fridge, and freezer.

Minimums: 

We need a minimum of 10 people to kickstart the party (or equivalent fee).

Maximum Capacity: 

50 seated.


Accessibility:

  • The front door is wide enough for wheelchair access.
  • There are ambulant toilets downstairs as well as separate disabled toilets. 
  • Please be aware that this venue is double-story. You can choose to have the event upstairs, but there are stairs. Therefore, in the event that you have non-ambulant guests joining your event, the downstairs hall is also available. Please see the images below of the stairs to the upstairs hall. There is no lift. You will have access to both floors during your booking.


Dress Code:

We get it, no one wants to dress down for a private event like this. Feel free to come as you like. We've got the aprons covered. The soy wax is water-soluble, so it will dissolve in hot water. We provide gloves to protect your hands and we advise guests to be careful with the dye. However, be aware we take no responsibility for damaged personal items.

What's on the Agenda:

  • Our workshop host / s will guide the guests to create dessert candles. 
  • Guests choose their fragrances and dyes. 
  • We'll provide printed personalized stickers for the glasses. 
  • We'll follow your lead on how technical you want to get. Keep it light-hearted and experiential or drop in information about the benefits of soy wax, the art of wick sizes, scent ratios that make sense and mastering the perfect pour for the ideal burn. Safely transport your new creation home directly after the workshop in the provided box, or ask about for our mail-me-home service - to be quoted separately.

Please note that different rates apply for daytime or evening rates at this particular venue as a result of the 3rd party venue hire fee.

How To Book:

To secure your booking, simply choose your preferred date and time from the available options for Blaze and Foam. Your reservation with Blaze and Foam is then confirmed upon your selection and deposit paid. The balance is due two weeks prior to your event date.
